Welcome to the Junior Ranger+ Project!
This site is dedicated to sharing information about the Junior Ranger program offered by the National Park Service (NPS): a program designed to explore and learn about America’s national parks. Not only do you get a badge or a patch for your efforts upon completion of the program (which is pretty cool in itself ;)), it also brings attention to the off-the-beaten-path type of stuff that you may miss by just "passing through."
The site discusses the types of programs offered and contains a in-depth and comprehensive list of the NPS sites offering the program that goes beyond simply listing out the participating sites. It is also home to my mildly interesting ramblings about the NPS and my adventures therein as I try to collect all of the Junior Ranger badges and Passport Cancellation Stamps.
