Participating Parks

Many National Parks in the National Park Service system offer some form of the Junior Ranger Program. When you arrive to the site, ask a Ranger at the Visitor's Center/Ranger Station for information on their Junior Ranger program. You will receive a booklet with activities to complete while visiting the site. (Note: Some sites require you to purchase the booklet, which is available at the site's bookstore.) When you are finished with the activities, return your booklet to a Park Ranger (typically at the visitor center), and you will be officially sworn in as a Junior Ranger and receive your reward. Welcome to the National Park Service Family!
